We are happy to announce that the cast for ‘A Good Year’, a fiction series for VTM, includes Delnaet, Joke Devynck Boris Van Severen, Frances Lefebure and Kürt Rogiers. Other cast members will be revealed later on. The series is written by Jean-Claude van Rijckeghem and Pierre Declercq. The series is directed by Kadir Balci.
‘A Good Year’ is about two men who accidentally find a cellar full of weapons and wine from WWII. Since they both need money, they decide to sell the wine as if it belonged to Hitler. The situation ultimately gets completely out of hand.
The series is being produced by Bruno Wyndaele and Dries Phlypo through their new production company Mockingbird Productions for VTM and co-produced by the Dutch The Film Kitchen. ‘A Good Year’ will also be available on Videoland.
‘A Good Year’ has already received the support of the Media Fund of the VAF, The Belgian Tax Shelter in collaboration with Belga Productions, the Dutch Production Incentive and Wallimage.
