Johny Voners is almost unrecognizable in A Good Year. He plays the role of a mafia boss called Michel, for which he had to undergo a transformation. The 74-year-old actor traded his normal look for a beard, thick glasses and a shaved head.
Johny is very excited to play the role of Michel. For him, this is a more serious role which allows him to show his abilities as an actor. A big plus for him is that the set of A Good Year feels familiar, as he has worked with most of the people before on the set of Amigo’s.
Even though two months ago Johny announced that he is battling cancer, he is very positive about the future and is enjoying his time on the set of A Good Year.
