The Screen Flanders Economic Fund is investing in six new audiovisual productions. With this investment, the Flemish Minister of Economy wants to give the Flemish film world a boost so that the finished productions hopefully ensure economic progress within the sector.
One of the six productions that have obtained this support is the animation series ‘Mister Paper’ with Mockingbird Productions as its Flemish main producer. The Mechelen stop-motion animation studio Beast Animation will be responsible for the creation of Mister Paper and his wonderful paper world. The animation series is based on the books by Gerda Dendooven and Elvis Peeters and is directed by Steven De Beul and Ben Tesseur, also creators of Rusty.
